I have always loved working with my hands, and as a child they were always creating. I started designing and sewing at age 7, and started making my own patterns at age 12. After my studies at Earlham College, I attended the Mayer School of Fashion Design, acquiring the skills that would allow me the freedom to create exactly what I envision.
My work as an accessory designer has been evolving over the past 20 years. In 2000, I made my first handbag and was instantly hooked. I have always loved art that is functional; creating art-inspired accessories is the perfect way to combine the two with my love of beautiful and unusual fabrics. I take great care to produce handbags that are well-constructed, with great attention to detail.
My designs are modern, contemporary, and timeless. I design and produce all of my work myself, from design concept and fabric selection, to pattern making and construction. I purchase my fabrics in small quantities, so I am able to offer a wide variety of fabrics and styles.
I create my line of fleece hats and scarves with Polartec fleece. Polartec is the highest quality fleece available. It has thermal qualities, retains its shape, is moisture-wicking, does not pill, and washes well. Even better, Polartec is a company that remains committed to the environment. Most of their fabrics are made from PCR-post consumer recycled materials.
I love being able to offer stylish accessories that are well constructed,
functional, durable, and timeless.
