I never thought of myself as an artist, but creating with color and form has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I was certified as a Master Gardener in 1993, and spent untold hours in the garden . . . designing, planting, envisioning. The passage from tending the earth to exploring the energy of gemstones seemed a natural one.

Creating jewelry pieces with intention for family and friends was where I began, but with support and encouragement, I sold my designs to an ever-widening circle. The most meaningful part of making jewelry has been custom design. Working together with someone to select specific gemstones which manifest the intent of the giver, and to then create a design which reflects the spirit and energy of the wearer, is a special joy for me.

My designs continue to represent the evolution of my personal journey, guided by Spirit. I hope the simple beauty of the materials - gemstones, silver, and leather - will speak to the individual and reflect their personality. I believe that jewelry can influence the way you feel; it can say and mean something different to every wearer.

I named my jewelry Spiral Journeys to honor how and why I create. The small spiral charm found on my jewelry is a universal symbol which represents the constant evolution of all that is. It signifies my belief that we are connected with one another, and supported by loving Spirit, as we journey the paths of our lives.
